Kyle Bornheimer Joins Two Wedding-Themed Comedies (Exclusive)

Kyle Bornheimer has booked a double-wedding, nabbing roles in two nuptial-themed comedies. The comic actor just started shooting Bachelorette, an indie comedy starring Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan, and he then jumps into The Big Wedding, a Millennium/Nu Image comedy starring Robert DeNiro, Diane Keaton and Katherine Heigl. Bachelorette, written and being directed by Leslye Headland, centers on three friends are asked to be bridesmaids at a wedding of a woman they used to ridicule back in high school. Bornheimer is playing a man who was somewhat of a stoner-loser in high school who had a crush on the prom queen, and at the wedding she still has no idea who he is. Wedding is about a long-divorced couple (De Niro and Keaton) who fake being married as their family unites for a wedding. Bornheimer will play Heigl's estranged husband who shows up at the wedding, to Heigl's displeasure. Justin Zackham, who wrote The Bucket List, is directing the comedy, which has attracted quite the ensemble: Topher Grace, Amanda Seyfried, Robin Williams, and Susan Sarandon, among others. Both movies are in production in New York. Bornheimer starred on NBC's Perfect Couples and CBS' Worst Week and appeared in the comedy features She's Out of My League and You Again. He is repped by CAA, Flute Entertainment and attorney Todd Rubenstein. Email: Borys.Kit@thr.com Twitter: @Borys_Kit Related Topics
